Welcome to my art class website! I am excited about the upcoming 2009/2010 school year. We are so fortunate here at Telluride Elementary to have primary art education (not to mention technology, physical education, outdoor ed, music, and drama) in place. I hope this website will give you a better understanding of the TES art program. Please ask your child about what they are learning in their "specials" classes. Your child's work will be kept throughout the year in their own personal portfolio. We will have an art show at the end of the year featuring your child's best work! I will try to keep the student galleries updated with some samples of current student work. Student art will also be displayed in the hallways of our school. Since I teach 260 students weekly, I will not be able to post every student's art work on the web. I urge you to contact me if you have questions, donations, volunteer time, or would like to set up a time to visit.
